After days of pollution and dry weather, we had unexpected rains yesterday.
Rains in the middle of November is rare.
Yet it will not only reduce pollution, but the cold winds (just cold, not freezing) also mean that the winters have made a start.
Now we are wearing sweaters almost the full day.
Let me see how the winters progress.

What pollution are you referring to? Is air? Water? Noise?

Air pollution due to stubble burning after Harvest of rice and some other crops in many Northern Indian parts in October-November plus atmospheric conditions.

It is tough with many non-cooperative people in the public plus corrupt officials.

Yes the rain would help in combating the pollution.
I hope that you had a good Diwali festival.

We have had cloudy day today as well, with some morning winds.
The sun did come out for some time.
Yet we could see sunnier weather for the next few days perhaps.

You could have heated the water in a Pan and mixed in a bucket.
