Thankfully, with all the rigmarole with the micro-USD/whatever card and my shopping trip this morning (good amount of steps
) I was able to set up my camera without really any problem. I just will need to refer to the manual to remind myself which button does what.
So, once a little message on the camera screen said:
"Your camera is ready to use",
I took a couple of random photos.
It's nice to be able to turn on a camera and not have the screen go all "wavy" or "shaky" like my last camera was doing.

Glad you have a manual. Gone are the days of point and shoot.

Not for me, they're not--at least, not until they stop making cameras altogether.
