I have always wanted to make a nativity set when I saw the patterns online even before I learned how to crochet. Finally, I have crocheted a simple and small set. I am glad this blogger shared the patterns of creating the whole nativity set, not only Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus, but also the shepherds, three wise men, donkey, and sheep. I am planning to make the rest soon too. They are good for storytelling and playing for fun too. Have you started Christmas shopping? image credit: kaka135

that is nice! I saw that one too in facebook, they are selling it. I wish I can crochet something like that too. How many days did you do that?

This pattern is free and is shared on her blog. There are two versions shared on her blog, I chose the smaller version, so I can finish it quicker. Moreover, there isn't much sewing, so it can be done quite quickly. I think I did it within two days. I actually followed another pattern to make the manger, that's the most tedious one, as it involved much sewing. If I would do it again, I think I'll just follow the manger from this blogger. Here's the link. Just try it out. You can learn how to crochet from Youtube and make these!
a mini crochet nativity set, about 4 inches tall, including Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus in a little manger.

So adorable! You are so good at making crocheted things . . . I am too impatient. We didn't do any big gift exchanges this year - I think it will be the same for Christmas. I have some things I bought for practical gift baskets . . . and I have quite a few plants we have propagated and grown during this pandemic.
