COVID Survivors & Brain Damage?

There is increasing evidence that people who recovered from COVID went on to have serious health issues. This article by MIT says it is *possible* that about 20% of people could encounter mental disorders.
We're still not sure if this correlation equals causation, but, we don't understand the possible long-term effects. We have encountered diseases like this before that the immediate effects at first seem not quite so severe, but the long-term effects are detrimental.
So, if you know anyone who is downplaying COVID, don't try to argue, just simply point out that the future of it is uncertain. Most of us don't remember Polio, but there could be similarities in the sequence of events.

Yes, definitely good to know to keep an eye on loved ones for changes in mood after recovering.

I have heard this, and sometimes even after you have "recovered" it can attack other organs in the body a bit later on.

I don't argue with them. But they are just make me want to strangle them. It's fine if they don't believe it, I want to pray people who don't believe it to get infected, but this virus is contagious. How if I get this virus from them. I don't want to die because of their stupidity.
