Day 101 Promise 560 Romans 5:1 Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope makes not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. People go through their lives justifying their actions, hoping to bring peace of mind from a guilty conscience. Paul told the Romans faith was their justification. There was no need for guilt when faith in Jesus Christ justified their actions. Does that mean Christians can do whatever they want? No. As Christians, you want to give glory to God through your actions. God’s grace covers you and gives you hope when the world, Satan, comes against you. Satan reminds you of your past when you willfully practiced all kinds of evil. Yet, the moment you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, confessing your sin, God forgave you and wiped your slate clean. Jesus became your justification, your hope, and that kind of hope brings no shame or guilt. Let’s pray: Father, thank you for the trials in my life.
