yea, I think family problems affect individual especially if the problem is really big and deep but if it avoidable, we should try to be professional

Mental and Physical health is the key to all type of work. So if you don't have either of it then you might not able to concentrate on whatever you are doing. I usually lock me to my dad's room and post on mylot using phone. Or I will be awake late night sometimes to make sure I have peaceful surroundings and my response doesn't have impact of what I am going through.

It's something normal. I salute people who can concentrate to work in the middle of problems. I think men could do it better than women. When women think with heart and feeling, men tend to be more logical.
