Crows Have Taken Over the Feeder

Never seen so many crows at the deck feeder. Did not know they love peanuts. They will get two and three at one time in their mouths.
They are so big and will take over when they come around. The other birds disappear when the crows show up. I probably would too if I was a bird.
Finally got a photo of one. They are very skittish. I have to setup the camera inside on the tripod, behind the patio doors to get photos.
Even with a light rain, the birds are not slowing down. They are enjoying the peanuts. Look close and you can see raindrops in this photo.
This is how I am enjoying my Sunday. Have a good one everyone.

great pic, hon. like all critters, if'n ya build 't, they'll come. feeders no diff'rent, particularly when the weather 'tis 'wry. they go fer the easy pickin's versus findin' schtuff out'n the wild. they like pumpkin seeds, too :)

@CarolDM yer welcome :) nah, i'd not either, 'twas jest sayin', lol. i'd get a few when the resident squirrel 'twas here last year. whilst the squirrel'n blue jays fussed 't each other, chasin' round'n round, when the crows came ya saw nary a sign 'f either. most oft i'd seem 'em with the pumpkin seeds more'n the peanuts. which i found a tad odd. yepperz, spendy.

Crows are really smart, and probably dominate all the other birds. They are on the big side as well.

Raindrops keep falling on my birds....I remember that song!
I'm down to mostly doves, cardinals, and squirrels here.

@CarolDM I think that is why I like them so much. They are not like most birds.

Grackles and crows ruin it for the other birds. :-(

Crows are very aggressive birds. They use to chase our cats away from their food dish, in the yard. Those crows would consume every bit of the cat food!
