A stranger assists a widower find his lost wedding ring

A widower named James Crowley who is 93 years young is thankful that thanks to the assistance of his daughter Deidre Miguel who is a nurse used the power of Facebook to ask for help to find her dad's lost wedding ring that he has in his possession for 71 years. James who lives in Westerly Rhode Island was working in his backyard raking leaves when his ring fell off of his finger and he feared that his wedding ring which is priceless to him was lost forever. When Deidre was informed that her dad was sad that his wedding ring was gone, she used Facebook to find if anyone had a metal detector that could be used to locate the missing ring. Ryan Ledbetter answered the request to use his metal detector to assist James to find the lost wedding ring in the backyard of the Crowley home. Thanks to Ryan using his metal detector, he was able to locate the lost wedding ring and return it to James who was happy to regain possession of the lost wedding ring after his wife passed away six years ago. I can understand why a wedding ring means a lot to a person who lost their best friend. Thanks to Deidre and Ryan who showed compassion in reuniting a lost wedding ring to its owner, James is now a happy man once more.
