The Cal Fresh/EBT/Food stamp people called while I was out walking Angel. They were supposed to call at 8 a.m., and by the time it got to be 8:30 I figured I'd go walk the dog. The message I got when I got back was that they would call again later. While I was waiting, I got a call from my co-worker, who said she'd come by and get the things I had ready to go to the charity store. I took the seven boxes of varying sizes out to the sidewalk, including two big mirrors wrapped in bubble wrap, so she wouldn't have to walk all the way up to the house. and go in and out. I left the front door open to let some air in. I went into the garage to do some laundry, and while I was getting that ready, I heard barking. Coming back in, my co worker was standing in the front entryway, I guess wondering where I was. We loaded the stuff up into her truck, and she said that at the place she took them to, they loved the stuff they got. Hopefully, they'll love this batch, too.
