Walking And Dreaming

Good Morning! I woke up at 7:00 and made my lazy self get out of bed and go on a walk. It was only thirty minutes because my body was tired and I didn't want to push myself, but I DID walk. I think I need to look into some strength training as part of my exercises. I won't bore you with walking because that seems to be the main theme of my discussions lately. Last night I had a dream that my brother in law (my actual sister's ex husband.. I have several "brother in laws" that aren't blood related), niece and nephew moved into a new house. I can't recall all of the dream but I think I had a video recorder and was supposed to be filming the unveiling of their new house. They had a few dogs too. The house was large, but it didn't have many rooms. It was also split level. I think I was trying to get the footage before my brother in law came back home. I also found out that it was in a neighborhood closer to me, but one that seemed more rural than it actually was. I remember fighting with someone over something but I can't recall exactly what. I think I was in school for something, but not sure what.. I guess maybe videography since I had a video camera with me. It was an odd dream but I loved the house and the land. The name of the neighborhood in my head is one that actually exists and is actually not too far from me either.

Walking is good no matter what. Interesting dream - you are even going through neighborhoods in your dreams .

@ScribbledAdNauseum All of us can use more exercise time. For us, it's super windy, so I don't think we'll get a walk in.

@much2say Oh, best not to try to walk in such high winds. At the least it'll irritate the sinuses at the most you could get a cold!

Yeah, I guess I am. I also agree, walking is good even if it's just five minutes. I still need to walk more, of course.

I really hope the weather clears up for you so that you can! It's lovely to be able to walk outside, even if just for a few minutes.

@thelme55 I'm interested about how you use the banana leaves in the dessert. I know Southern parts of Mexico use Banana leaves to wrap their tamales, but that's the only culture I know of that uses it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I will be able to walk outside tomorrow as I have to go to the Asian supermarket to buy Asian ingredients that I will need like soy sauce and banana leaves for Christmas dessert.

Dreams can be fun and weird sometimes at the same time. Good that you got a walk in already. I woke about the same time and stayed in bed mylotting. I began doing exercises from my chair since I'm more limited at present.

@MarshaMusselman Any amount of activity, however minor, is better than nothing. Sometimes it's good to just get the joints moving a little.

I dream all the time but I rarely remember them for more than a couple of minutes

I have to actively think about them or I'll forget them nearly instantly.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I dream but I can never remember them so they must not be worth remembering

I'm glad to hear that you're still walking. I didn't think about it; so I don't remember the dream I had this morning. I do remember one from a couple of days ago. It was nice.

I'm glad you finally had a nice, non stress-inducing dream! Yes, It was foggy out there and nice and quiet.

Lately my dreams have left me quicker than usual. Not sure why, but I wake up knowing they were weird but not much else. Exercise! It would be nicer if we didn't have to do any of it to stay fit and healthy!
