A Place in Barcelona

Just came home from an immersion in a village in Barcelona. No, not in Spain but in a far flung village in the municipality of Barcelona in our country. It was a 5-day immersion as part of my job. We helped the village council to formulate their Enhanced Barangay Development Plan and presented the same to the national government agencies during the last day of the activity. The place is lovely but development is yet to be achieved because of its distance from the downtown.
It was a great experience for my team during the field immersion. We were amazed by the beauty of the place. Fresh water from the river and the mesmerizing view on top of the place overlooking 4 municipalities. The place needs to be developed and for sure tourism will boom which will definitely improve the lives of the people.

It would take years before they could finish any tourism project in the place. Hopefully, everything is back to normal before the time the project is finished.

@kaylachan The pandemic should not limit the people from learning, improving and enjoying life. However, we need to strictly follow the health protocols. We continuously reach out to the people. Next week I'll be in another place to carry out the same activity.
