It is the last day of the month here. I think I have recovered since I already ate some ice cream after having lunch. Then mom's colleague comes over for lunch. He had an argument with another tenant because of the people in his apartment. Apparently they were judge before they got the chance to know him. He tried to talk to this other tenant but he won't budge. So, the landlady finally intervene and calm things down. But for him, he thinks it's not over, I hope that's not the case. Well, he rented the place he needs to find a way to get along w/ this tenant. I'm scared for him already, i do hope that's the last time they had a misunderstanding like that.

You may not always be able to pick your neighbors, but renters rarely stay in the same place for long. I know very few who've lived in a place more than a year or two.

That tomboy was the only person who doubted them @kaylachan now after the landlords clarification, she tends to avoid him much now.

It would be great if the trouble is sorted out and it doesn't escalate anymore.

Hello @allen0187 I don't want escalate because he's a good person and that tomboy judge him way too early. Or maybe she likes him in a way.

If that is the case, the one whom proved to be the troublesome one will have to go.

Wait, they had an argument because of the people in your mom's colleague's apartment?
You mean, he had a lot of visitors in his apartment that's why the other tenant got mad?

Hello @brokenbee because they thought he would just live there alone. But he's a contractor and brought his workers and this other tenant didn't know about it. Sadly, she didn't listen to his other co workers who had been hanging with them recently.

@Letranknight2015 Oh.. maybe she is not comfortable with lots of people.. And maybe she fears that they might have COVID and infect the neighborhood. Hihi

Sometimes, we do have a lot of things on our mind and the brain is screaming - give me a break. Anything that is small too seems huge. I guess this is not the only issue on his mind. Perhaps, he can be coaxed to open up and there could be other areas where he could be helped.

Hello The landlord in the first place should have talked to the tenant instead of letting them have the conversation.
