Freezing Rain & Sleet All Day

BOOOOO!!!!!!! I’ve seen a few sn*wflakes, but it’s still mostly rain still here. I’ll accept the first one of the year with that wide-eyed kiddie voice (“ooh, look, sn*w!”). All appearances of the white stuff from here on out will be snarled at with disgust and disdain.

We are supposed to get snow today, but no snow yet.

So glad you did not fall Carol. Stay in.

Driving in freezing rain is the worst. Walking is difficult at best. I hate it. I don't like snow and cold but they are better than freezing rain or ice storms.

And to think we up north have 61 degrees and rain today. Be careful you don't slip on the ice.

It started to s**w late last night after raining all day. Should s**w most of the day. You and I should hibernate. Miserable weather! Stay safe and warm.

Hmmm, freezing rain...that's nasty. I think our rain is probably over now...but it is beginning to get a bit breezy now.

Be careful out there. You're getting weather we would expect. The weather people told us we'd get an early winter and once it came out would continue getting nastier but they are wrong once again or my protector is helping the conditions be milder here until I can again wear shoes. When I went to my last bandage appt we had similar weather to what you now have. I wrote one slipper as I have been but put a grocery bag over it and tired the top and then put a bootie like contractors wear in homes over that for some traction. I expect in another week or so I'll be able to wear shoes because it's not hurting anymore.

You would need to be really careful on the slippery deck. It's good the phone wasn't damaged.

@CarolDM I hope you and the cats were warm enough. Sounds like a day to be inside. The poor ones that eat from that feeder. Glad you are inside getting warm.
