December 1 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been good so far.
I'm thankful my hospital appointment took less time this morning. Two hours instead of three. One hour for the medication and one-hour observation while they did the flush. I found myself dozing off while trying to watch a movie to pass the time. It was an animated Christmas Carol I haven't seen yet, but is also available on Disney + so I and see it again.
I'm thankful my son does not need to return to the ER today. He has some complications due to the fracture that he can take care of at home. His girlfriend will be bringing my laundry later.
I'm thankful I got a full night's sleep without getting up once. That's so rare, I'm very happy when I don't need to get up multiple times a night. Especially when my back is still protesting unnecessary movement.
I'm thankful I worked on New Horizon's: Preditors and Blue Fire today. I have Writer's Guild in a couple of hours and the area needing attention was commented on at the last meeting. I'm happy with it now, and will read that section again tonight and hope it works. It should.
I'm thankful for the Christmas card I got in the mail today from Sharon in New York. Thank you.
That's my day so far. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. I need to get off the computer. Even though my back is starting to feel better, it still complains about sitting for an extended period of time. I finished the notifications earlier today and will try to work on them again tomorrow. I'll be in my recliner with my laptop for the meeting tonight.

do they give ya a big dose 'f benadryl fer yer infusion? i don't miss such from when i 'twas takin' similar treatments. glad such went quickly 'n ya found ya a movie ya can watch later.
'tis great she brought'cha yer laundry 'n that he's managin' 'lright there't home.
brilliant ya got'cha a full nights slumber. i hope fer such one day.
hopefully the changes made'll be a hit with the guild.
i'm thankful i mustered the strength yesterday to 'nload hay, 3 bags 'f grain 'n bring to the house 2 bags 'f wood pellets fer the stove. wish i'd not run out'ta daylight to tend the gapin' holes 'cross the north 'n east side 'f the house. yepperz, the man failed to tend to such's promised (surprised? nah, didn't think so...) so empty horse feed bags 'tis my 'nly defense.

@just4him oh my! thankful ya didn't break nothin', hon. i'd 'nly 3 doses 'fore i broke out head to toe. took a year'n a half to heal, when they (3 derms, gastro) said such'd take 6 weeks to get out'ta my system. uhm, nope! from the remicade, not the benadryl.
brilliant they brought such 'n ya were able to give yer son that cane.
ugh, jest when ya think ya got't, eh? oh well, best to get't tended 'fore yer all healed'p. i suspect that when such's so perhaps thingies'll be more open 'n ya can get out'n 'bout.
yes ma'am. not 'nough, but happy with what 'twas 'ccomplished.

@crazyhorseladycx I made more changes to it yesterday when I could sit here for a little bit. I might need to add a bit more description to it, but overall, it's a lot better. I cut and pasted the area that needed attention and put it on another Word document. I didn't want to delete it completely. I'm sure it will fit in another area of the book.
Thank you. I'm glad I didn't break anything either. It took a few weeks for the knee to heal.
I'm sorry the Remicade caused so much trouble.

I stopped the pre-meds before the infusion last year. I was so groggy one day that I fell off the curb in front of my car when I came out and twisted my knee. They aren't mandatory, so I don't take them anymore.
My son and grandson showed up with my laundry. My grandson put it on my bed since my son can't do any lifting. He left with my cane. He needs it.
I still need to make more changes. It's better, but still not what it should be. So, I'm working on it.
You got a lot done yesterday.

I am thankful that I was able to cash my check today and that the extreme cold weather that was not as bad as it was supposed to be since the freeze was not as harsh as expected.

I hope I don't wake up tonight. for the past two nights I have woken up at 3:47 needing to use the bathroom which wakes the cat up..and he goes around meowing for awhile. That is a pain.

I'm thankful I could go outside in shorts and be just fine. I'm thankful, that it's the first of December, and I haven't needed to turn on the heater, but have a feeling I'll be turning it on tonight. I'm thankful that I managed to get online early, getting some extra posting in. Just in case my husband (finally) takes me to Wal-Mart to get jeans. However, I'm not holding my breath, and will be washing the bag of winter clothes I stashed in my office because the dressers are over stuffed.

So many things to be thankful for, everyday. Different reasons, big or small, just thankful.
Well for me, it was a very tiring day (not complaining just saying how I truly feel and won't give up trying to take good care of my beautiful children). My eldest child was a bit grumpy over brunch as he prefer to take a bath first before eating his meal. I was about to get a little grumpy as well because of the overwhelming chores I had this morning. Luckily, my husband took over and gave our child his much needed bath while I enjoyed my morning coffee.
Thankful that my family are all well and that we can afford to satisfy our needs.
Also, I am beyond blessed that I have my husband with me, who really is there always ready to support me. We make a good team and that makes our lives easier and happier.
So much more to be thankful for and I appreciate even the little things in life.
