Going back to work, a little/hospital update

I left the house early. Rode with the "life skills" kids. Bob and I ran an errand and now I am back for a while. I will go back at 2:15. Tomorrow is a full day, and so is Friday. A lot of schools around us are going remote until after Christmas, but not us. I texted a few times with my brother yesterday. Dana, the family friend, did a video advent reading for the church and also gave an update. My sister in law is feeling better. My brother is still in the hospital. In addition to steroids he is taking that new anti-viral Remdesivir. I have had other friends receive the same treatment. After five days of the Remdesivir they are usually released from the hospital. There is a storm alert out for here. Not much will happen though. A little rain that turns to snow then heading for warm weather again. All the news about us.

i've a wonder 's to why the delay'n givin' him such? 'n others's well. we'll keep fingers crossed the remdesivir 'tis successful 'n he's home soon. glad yer sis'n law 'tis feelin' better, too. we continue to get slammed by cold front 'fter cold front. tried to snow earlier, lil snowballs, not flakes. the winds howl fiercly 'n 'tis most miserable outdoors. such'd be most diff'cult, to tend the young'uns that'chall do without bein' present. i jest hope all remain diligent.

I think you have to be IN the hospital to be given the Remdesivir because of potential side effects.

Our school was remote for the last 2 weeks and reopened this week. The schedule is crazy and I don't know how the kids manage to know whether they're supposed to be home or in school. Hope the Remdesivir works and your brother gets better quickly.

He was released this evening. He is tired, I called him just as he was headed in the door.
