Fairly Nice Day

United States
December 2, 2020 1:18pm CST
Today is a fairly nice day, the sun is shining and most of all it's not freezing as the other day was. I can deal with this day. I haven't felt the best, husband still in hospital. I talked to the nurse this morning, and she said he was on room air. Vitals are ok. I hope I dont live to ever see anything like this again. The virus is bad enough, but the people who don't really care, or don't think they can get it. I went to the store yesterday, signs on doors said you have to wear a mask, and, no one working in the store was wearing one. I guess maybe all the talk about the vaccine just makes some people careless.

I didn't realize your husband has the virus. So sorry! Wishing him a speedy recovery. No masks? That is disgraceful!

Room air, that is good. Beats a ventilator all to pieces. I know so many people get careless and it is frustrating. That is why we cannot get past this virus.

You are so very right. I was so angry and afraid all at the same time. Our Governor, went to the White House, and didn't wear a mask, so a lot of people won't listen to him now.

Yes, I am so very afraid because, it's being said a wave on top of a wave. You are right to their own peril.

@popciclecold Yes but many do not understand. By early October 2020, conditions in Delhi and nearby were getting quite better with low caseloads. However, many people could not control unduly venturing out during the festival times and hence we saw a sort of resurgence. Strict measures lead to some check - but at a cost.

I hope your husband recovers soon. Wow, the store employees were not wearing masks ? It's very warm here and slightly windy today (I'm not a wind fan) - this is our kind of autumn.

You are so right about people who do not really care. The vaccine is not the magic potion, we must be careful. My best wishes to your husband.

wonderful news 'bout'cher hubs, hon. glad yer weather 'tis warmer. the sun's finally come out here, givin' a false sense to such's well. 'tis not true, 'tis frigid out there, lil birds remain puffed to 'ndure. they've 'd signs'n businesses since march here, though such 'twas not 'nforced here 'xcept fer wally-world. now all businesses 're complyin', reckon one finally got fined. i dunno what 'tis mentally wrong with folks who refuse to wear masks, social distance 'n washin' their danged hands. all reasons that the virus continues to run rampant. from what i've heard, the 'general population' 'll not get vaccines started 'til possibly march? so many folks lives 'ndangered'n lost coz 'f selfishness...

You are so right. March is a long way off. I think the more they talk about a vaccine the more lax people are getting. I'll be glad when this is behind us. Tske care of yourself, we are trying to do the same, stay safe.
