That bring joy to ya 'n warms the heart. I swear I'd be like a young'un when 't comes to the wonders 'f nature. How a 'plain' sky can transform 'nto a magical palette, 'ppearin' to be heavily painted 't times. Brushstrokes seemin' visible. I reckon I snapped o'er 100 shots 'f this 'fter I caught eye 'f some sparks 'f pale, baby pink'n the sky. Nowhere near where the sun'd be settin' so's I knew I 'twas gonna get one heck'f a show 's such neared. Ne'er disappointed to see such magical wonders. Kinda wish they'd a tripod like those new-fangled canes. Ya know the ones that fold'p easily, pop open with a flick 'f the wrist? Such'd be soooo handy fer me these days, lol. I took a video 'f this beauty. Looks like a drunken monkey stole my camera fer the eve.

One of our members here has a set of clip on lens for her cellphone camera. I ordered one for our son for his birthday. There are quite a number of lens and he has taken some amazing photos with it. Have you considered something like this?

@crazyhorseladycx No, you will not need another phone, you just order this clip on lens for the phone camera. I'm going to attach the post that I read, it really made sense to me and that was why I bought a set of clip on lens.
Some have asked what I was referring to in my last post about my new lens. The macro lens is actually clipped on my iPhone. I tried explaining and thought I...

That's just beautiful ! Were things a changin' ever so quickly as you took the video? I haven't used a tripod in so long - I don't even know what's out there these days !

@crazyhorseladycx I love it! Like a painting in motion. You can just sit back and marvel at it ! I will say the older tripods are very sturdy though. Heavy, but a bit of nuisance to carry around. I got a newer one (though still old) and rather light and hollow. This kid ran over it with his bike and damaged a leg - luckily my camera wasn't actually attached at that time. He took off . . . but it was my fault for leaving it where I did - even if it was just for a minute.

't times? 'twas'n interestin' sunset 's most oft such's quick to form 'n pass. this'un jest kept transformin' o'er 'bout 30 minutes? i've a 40yr ol' tripod. 'tis a nuisance 'n prolly needs replaced. i've one leg that seems to've locked 'nto place, 'til ya 'ttach the camera 'n such collapses. 'tis quite heavy's well.

@much2say 'twas most fascinatin' to watch such 'nfold :) yepperz, heavy. cumbersome. i've a 3 footer, but the body says nope to squattin' down to such to focus. well, can get down fer such, but gettin' back 'pright 'tis not purty. oh no! how'd he run o'er such with his bike? 'twas he ridin' that contraption blindfolded 'r somethin'?

I'm thinking of getting one of those single leg tripods. Maybe they're called monopods and it's probably what you're talking about. My shots sometimes aren't as sharp as they need to be.

lol, most likely so. i reckon i ought'a see what one'd cost 'n how small such folds, eh? mine'd be sharper if'n i'd not the 'shakes'. i'd set elbows 'top the horse corral hopin' such'd help. nope, coz then ms. skyler came comin' o'er to nudge me, lol. 've ya heard 'f/'r seen those scopin' gizmos with a tripod so's ya can put'cher phone/camera there'n get e'en closer shots?? not fer certain how well such'd work (clarity) with my lower pixel cameras. they'd be 'round $60 i think? i must find time to delve 'nto such. i need all the help i can get these days, lol.

@dgobucks226 so glad they've finally gotten there! yepperz, most 'xcellent present fer certain. those that remain here (fer whate'er reasonin') 've learnt that't aint too bad to eat from the feeders. they do take 'dvantage ('long with others) though when weather 'tis inclement, the ferals hidin' from the bitter winds.

I love watching sunsets when I can but I've not seen any for almost a month since our house faces somewhat east. Not enough east to get the sunrise either though. ( I see the sunsets while working). A few days ago there was a pink or orange cast on the ground outside so I peeked and could tell it was from a sunset.

i cannot see such wonders from the house, this 'twas out'n the pasture :) one 'f the many perks 'f havin' my lil herd. 'nsures i don't miss many. we've 'd a pinkish/orange cast 'long the horizon fer some days. not e'en rich 'nough colorin' fer any 'f my cameras to capture. so delicate with 'ts beauty.

'twas jest magical, to the south e'en more so. could'a used yer steady hand'n artful eye to help me get 't all :) if'n i'd 'n inklin' to how magnificent such 'twas gonna be, i'd hopped'n the truck 'n drove out a couple 'f miles. to get rid 'f all the man-made obstacles. 'twas jest that glorious.
