I've lost

United States

I've lost weight though I haven't been walking. I have done some dancing but not nearly as much as I should. I probably dance 10 or 15 minutes each day for exercise and get my heart rate up to 115 or so but not above that. Still, I am losing weight. I ate 3 carbs yesterday. How did I manage that? Well I wasn't hungry so I just picked at things. I had a cracker barrel cheese stick, two plain hamburgers (just the meat) and then one of my cheddar bay biscuits so.. three carbs. Today I'll have a light day as well because I'm making sausage balls and they are like 0.9 per sausage ball and some eggs for dinner. I don't feel hungry and probably won't eat again until then. I DO need to get back into exercising more though.

My "normal" heart rate is around 105, it goes to 130 if I exercise. If I do not overdo it's not dangerous.

@LadyDuck I believe you've told me before that you have a heart condition? I'm sorry, I don't remember exactly because I've talked to a lot of people about their health on here.

Yeah, telling you guys helps keep me accountable, as does telling some of my closest friends too. I've found I Really don't eat that much when I'm not eating because of stress or boredom.

@RebeccasFarm That's more than understandable and still somewhat nutritious as well.

Is that a low carb biscuit? It must be. I would think a regular biscuit would have like 10 carbs or so in.

Yes, these are like 3 net carbs per. The real cheddar bay biscuits are around 16 carbs per.

Thank You! I still have a longish way to go. I gained a little weight at thanksgiving and so this "loss" is just back to pre-thanksgiving weight.

@Butterfingers It's not as fun to exercise indoors, is it? I like going outside and looking around as I walk.

Yeah, I am impressed and pleased about that. I have been eating less carbs the last few days, but honestly my step count has been around 3,000 per day. It used to be atleast 10,000.

@ScribbledAdNauseum wow very surprising then you lost weight with so much fewer steps. I guess it must be due to less carbs.

@shaggin Yeah, less carbs and less calories too. I've been drinking more water which makes me feel full.

Thank You. I'm actually just down to my pre-thanskgiving weight but that's still a milestone.

Wow dancing alone? That's cool. My favorite one is jogging in my room.

I do a little jogging in place, but yeah I dance. Not very good, but it gets my heart rate up!

@Janet357 It is so hard! Even when we eat right, sometimes our bodies don't want to do what we wish they would. I'd like certain areas to be targeted first, but the weight comes off the way it wants to.
