Solutions Embedded in Challenges

Life is a puzzle. We do not know when and where we are born and then where we go from here if at all anywhere. That could well mean to make the best use of the present moment, listen to our inner voice, and do the best in the circumstances.
Everyday can be a challenge for some. In fact, no one is above challenges. How we face them depends on our mental disposition. As for myself, I do the best and accept whatever is the result there from.
I like to find solutions with an open mind and realize solutions come embedded within the problems we face. It could take time and we should be patient. In the meantime, we could as well carry on as usual than fret over the delay.
The present virus is a case in point. We wait for it to blow over but still are able to work around it. It has given us a new perspective about life in general and time to ponder about what life is about and the change needed to make it more meaningful, purposeful. Maybe, it is implanted in the issue for us to chart out a new course, path.
The inherent message is united we stand, divided we fall. It looks like though we need a stronger message as we still find it hard to shed our baggage of conflicts and negativity.
Have you pondered over our priorities during this pandemic time which has given a break from life as usual?

Recognizing the problem and assessing for a solution means half the solution is already given. The pandemic has been declared ten months now. Cautionary tales were given to prevent a second surge. Yet, the second surge has come, ghastly and wreaking havoc. The solution was not heeded. Sigh.

@Shiva49 The ugly truth is that there is one incongruous creature in America who downplayed the pandemia and deceived not only the Americans but other citizens of the world that the virus would magically go away. The virus is for real and the single threat to man.

@eileenleyva It is ironical and sad that the most advanced country is fighting a losing battle, has lost huge number of lives while most countries have taken basic precautions to stem the virus.
If the leader is selfish and is for self-preservation only, then the common folks suffer.

For some parents, it is tough on them too.
Children are cooped up inside homes with online learning and they get hooked to computer games as well .
When things are back to normal, it would be another ball game to find a "new normal".
It has been a wake up call for humanity, sort of a baptism of fire.

If only people could be this hopeful_"Maybe, it is implanted in the issue for us to chart out a new course, path." We need to turn a crisis into opportunity.

@Shiva49 True. Also this is the time to chase your dreams and introspect.

Any problem has two reasons for its being a problem.
The first is that it is a problem for you, when you see it that way, and the second is that it is a greater problem to all mankind, because there is no current solution to the problem.
Most problems can be let go of, and a solution comes when you, or mankind, are ready to receive them, and yet you should not let this stop you looking for likely solutions, for this stretches/grows you closer to the solution too.

@Shiva49 "To run its course" is a common enough expression, but does anything ever have to do this really.
Given free rein to run its course, its course would be a lot more than it is now.
It is good that we can circumvent its course at some levels, and slow down its course too.

@Shiva49 I do wonder if these sorts of things have a workingness of their own, and only last for a time, or is their timing dependent on our responses too?
I would say that life both responds to itself, and to other parts of that life, and this virus does the same, so it will keep interacting actively until we limit its doing so, and yet it too will surely pass over to something else in the end too, as nothing has a continuous cycle of its life.
Humans might develop within themselves a stronger response to it over time too.

Yes Steve, "god helps those who help themselves"
However, a few had been helping themselves at the expense of the vast majority.
Yes, patience is a virtue that we tend to overlook.
We get bogged down with an intractable issue. This too shall pass but time is also a factor.
I see get rich schemes luring the impatient.
This has been a problem for all but some have been knocked out like the tourism and travel industry with most international flights grounded.
This virus has to run its course. It also looks like when we are ready with the vaccines, it would have scooted into thin air. All in all it has been a good wake up call from our reveries.
