Okay, so this is a new one for me but I’m probably spot on correct about it. The other another I got a local call one there isn’t in my phone for someone or a company or doctors office. So I ignored it and let it go to voicemail. Once they left a message I went and listens to it. It was a recording telling me I had an charge of so and so money and they need my info. Okay! Well I don’t call them back I looked up the number I also just logged into my amazon account so nothing was order, check all of my cards nothing spend on anything. I texted my husband telling him now people are scam calling me like they are from amazon.

I just received an email from a site that looked just like Amazon..so I jumped over to chat with Amazon and they said it was a scam email and not to open it..the email said my account would be closed if I didn't log in.

I just saw this very thing on the news tonight. It is a scam. The recommendation is that you do not call back on the number given or press one to speak to an operator ( if you did in fact pick up the call ). Instead, go to the actual website and log into your account. Some people are so low that they will stop at nothing to rip somebody off.

If you read above I stated ths to don’t answer calls that are not in my phone already. Also any time someone leaves a message that isn’t my kids school I always verify the number is a real number. By far grew up in the technology age so I don’t fall for such easy things as this especially around the holidays. There are tones of scams out there many of them like this about existing companies but any of the companies actual numbers typically a company will not call you about a charge but your bank will or they will freeze your account.

I don’t answer most calls to my phone unless I have the number saved or I call them myself

Just hang off immediately when you called by them.
