All in all, I think I wrote on 20 Christmas cards last night. My recipients have to excuse my handwriting as my hand is getting tired, and I have been writing stuff all throughout the day at work as well. But then again, my handwriting is not really nice to begin with, but whatever.
I envy those whose handwriting is so neat and legible. Mine looks like a slightly pretty version of a chicken scratch. And for the life of me, whenever I try hard, the more my handwriting ends up looking bad. But whenever I am nonchalantly jotting things down, I would look and see that my handwriting looks so good!
Hopefully my cards reach their destination in time for Christmas. I also hope that it brings joy, even in its own small way. It may not be much, but I made sure that there are special messages for the recipients that is uniquely theirs.

Sometimes when you try to hard at something, it doesn't always work as you plan. I think it's because when we focus to hard on a task, we tend to over think our actions. When we're not as focoused we're able to concentrate better and things tend to work out better than we planned.

@Raine38 I'm sure those who recieve your cards will be able to read it just fine. If they can't, they'll enjoy the thought. Hand written anything is becoming more and more rare.

@kaylachan I agree that handwritten notes are a rarity now. I personally prefer a handwritten letter than an email, but I do appreciate both as it means they remembered me and took the time to reach out to me.

Yes, I agree. And that is also my concern - is they will not be able to make out my handwriting and the meaning will be lost. But regardless, as long as they feel that we have not forgotten them this holiday season, then the card has already served its purpose.

I noticed that cards now are specially hinting about the current situation, where people are far from each other physically but that they are always in their thoughts and prayers. I think it's so nice to receive cards in this time when our social interactions are very limited to none, depending on our situation.
