Sneaky cat

My cat Chinnia decided to be a bit of a sneak today. Normally, the cats stay from the garage. However, Chinnia decided to slip out while I was getting ready to leave. We try to keep the cats out of it, because we don't want them getting out when it's open, or we don't want them getting under the van and us not know about it. I didn't realize what happened until she gave herself away.

That can be dangerous. Mine are indoor cats.

So are ours. Our gerage is attached, and when I last saw her, she was in the living room eating. Next thing I know I hear a "meow" and sure enough there she was.

Three of my seven cats are known for leaving the home for a walk like to sneak you when the door opens like throwing out the garbage or getting to check the mail.

@Deepizzaguy I think the secret room with the noises and smells is what draws their attention. The washer and dryer are out there, and the hot water tank, too. So all kinds of sounds come from it.

The funny thing, Chinnia wasn't one of the cats known for being a door-dasher. However, she sure made up for it.

She is. Only because she gave herself away. She did try to run from me, but that was a fail.

What did she do to give herself away? How many cats do you have, three or four?

Three, and she's a talker. So she decided to meow. I heard her voice and found her quickly. She thought she'd try and run from me, but that obviously doesn't work.

She's perfectly fine. She's inside where she belongs.

Yep. I think she's gone into the pod. I don't think she likes that I locked her in the office while I'd gone out. Most of the time I can trust her, but she has her moments where she doesn't want to be all that vocal. @thelme55

Yeah. George wasn't home so I didn't have to worry about it. But, he is now. (he's sleeping) so yeah. That's why cats aren't allowed in the gerage.

You have to keep an eye on kitties all the time. Nico is very quick and sneaky too. It amazes me how fast he is sometimes.

My dog was constantly getting into the garbage can in the kitchen. I had to put it up on a stool where she couldn't reach it.

You have to keep such an eye on the kitties. Our Doodles escaped when our son left our house and was outside all day in the rain. We only realized it when it was dinner time and looked everywhere for him. We found him by the front door looking through the glass panels of the front door.

I swear, cats are just like toddlers, they always find themselves in such precarious situations and makes you realize why cats have 9 lives haha!

No kidding. At least she was easy to find and collect. My husband isn't home so the van isn't in the garage.

Cats can be tricky. You never know where they are. That's why I don't have a cat!

Cats usually find themselves comfortable under a van. That's what I have observed with Garkitty.
