Day 123 Promise 582 1 Corinthians 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; 22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; 23 And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s. (KJV) Whom do you idolize? Many people pay attention to every detail of their favorite celebrity. Paul told the Corinthians not to glory in men because they had access to the same life as those who seemed important. As Christians, you are not to run after the things of the world. You only need to ask your heavenly Father and He will give you all things because you belong to Christ. He doesn’t withhold any good thing from you. Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them who walk uprightly. 12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in thee. John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him. The world has nothing on you. You belong to Christ and Christ belongs to God. Therefore, everything you need, everything you desire that is good for you and brings glory to God, He will give you. You only need to ask. Let’s pray: Father, thank you that I belong to You. Help me look to You for everything I need and not regard what other people have. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
