Wavy, thick hair

In the picture was my wide tooth combs . I am cleaning them with my old toothbrush .I am using a wide tooth comb for my wavy , thick and long hair. Dirt and dust sometimes sticks on your hair and scalp and that is one of the reason our combs are dirty. I clean them by using old toothbrush with fine and small bristles so that it can reach the in betweens of the wide tooth comb. It is useful because it also prevents split hair that damages your hair. Plus I have wavy strands it also helps in making my hair stay in their place at times. I also have the smaller ones too in my bag . I enjoy cleaning combs because it makes me busy .Do you have some tips on cleaning combs ?
