Always enjoy homemade cornbread and butter. Cooked a pot of white beans and rice for dinner. Cornbread is a must have with this dish.
Many call these white beans, navy beans or northern beans as well.
A favorite dish and it has been awhile. The cornbread just got done.
Cooking it in a cast iron skillet makes a difference as well. Ready for dinner now.
Enjoy your evening everyone.

Your cornbread looks so inviting! I love it also, with cooked navy beans or Great Northern beans. I've baked it in a cast iron skillet, it makes the bread even better:)

I never cooked cornbread in a skillet...My mom used to have cast iron molds that were designed to be used for corn muffins.
