Day 126 Promise 585 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. (KJV) Satan tempts everyone. No one is exempt. However, Paul told the Corinthians about God’s faithfulness to give them a way through their temptation. As Christians, God tests you to find how faithful you are. He allows Satan to test you, but will not allow him to test you beyond your faith to believe. God tested Abraham when He told him to offer Isaac. When Abraham obeyed, He stopped the sacrifice and provided a lamb for the sacrifice. God allowed Satan to test Job. For many of us, what Job endured with Satan’s test of faith, we would fail. Yet God knew Job’s faithfulness would surpass everything Satan threw his way. Yet, even God questioned Job and showed him his faithfulness and God’s faithfulness to him. Do you believe you can’t endure God’s testing? Do you think you’re weak when it comes to Satan’s temptations? Look at your life and what you endured and the strength of your faith. You are stronger than you realize. You can endure and God will help you endure when Satan comes against you. You only need to call on Him and He will give you His strength to come through the temptation. It’s not your strength but His that will bring you through every test and temptation. That’s His promise to you. Let’s pray: Father, when I am weak, You are strong. Help me rely on Your strength when Satan comes against me. Help me see Your tests as a means to strengthen my faith. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
