I have two backpacks in the house. I can just grab one and go to a particular place. It is my thing to commute in backpacking around. With this pandemic, I cannot go anywhere but to stay within the city. Traveling is allowed now. But then, you need to secure doubled Php 3, 800 ($79.00) for the swab testing. Instead of using the money for getting away from the city, there is no enough for the budget. Are you a backpacker before the pandemic? If you have the chance, where would you backpack around? I cannot blame you or force you to do so. It is your own preference. I have been doing this since I was in university days. There is a moment that I need to escape away from stressors.

No, I prefer nice hotels, but I do go for hikes. I'm hoping the vaccine makes it possible for us to travel and backpack and do whatever we want to do again safely.

I heard that vaccines are starting to be administered in your country. Unlike in my country, they failed to give the requirements to the Pfizer company.

@Shavkat This virus has not been a blessing in my life at all. It has made my life unbearable because of so many nasty people. There were nasty ones before the virus and they got nastier during it. I am not getting things I need also and had to make several overseas phone calls that were expensive.

I think it is fine to do this with someone. As for me, I prefer to do be a solo flight with this kind of adventure.

I would backpack if I had no responsibilities. I have been thinking of converting my car into live in type of thing after a couple of years and roam wherever I wish like a nomad. For bathing and whatever there are always hotels in our cities.

The pandemic has stopped the travels of lots of people. Hopefully with a vaccine becoming available, people will be able to get out more.
