My sister cannot hide her frustration

During the month of August, my sister tested positive for Covid19. Her case was mild and she was just placed in an isolation facility. And then on October their home was included in the granular lockdown. Someone in their neighborhood who's working in a hospital tested positive for the virus. It's a rule that to prevent the possible spread among the person's close contact and the people living near, all houses within the perimeter will be locked down. My sister's house was included. It was her second time to be under an isolation for straight two weeks. Her frustration came from the non-inclusion of her being a beneficiary to the suppose financial assistance to the people under a granular lockdown while there were names listed as beneficiary who were not lockdown.

I can see why your sister is frustrated, and not getting financial compensation adds insult to injury.

For that assistance, her name was included in the first list submitted but those whose name was submitted among the second list were about to receive there cash aid tommorow. Upon verifying to the local office of the department, her name is on the list being submitted for encoding but cannot be found in the system's file when it was submitted to the national office of the department.

That’s bureaucracy for you, check and balance is slim to none. Is she getting any assistance anywhere else for the mean time?

Not sure if she's included the assistance given to the frontliners. This one is another grant to those affected by the granular lockdown. I think they're given food packs during that time. I can understand her because in the list there are beneficiaries that are single in status.

I would be MAD and not frustrated. Probably call Raffy Tulfo and complain about it. So much for blatant incompetence of the government staff! She needs to be strong though and pray instead..

I feel sad for her. She was advised to wait for another batch if there is any. That is ridiculous because there's no guarantee about it.

It maybe the fault of the encoder or we don't know if someone had influence the non inclusion.

I can't imagine the life of being in limited movements up to the corners of your house only for the span of two weeks. Gate closed, and then cordoned with yellow tape.

That does seem very unfair. No wonder your sister is frustrated.
