So Much For A Long Lunch Break / myLot

I told my boss in headquarters that I will take a long lunch today. I had a very busy and challenging morning, so I will need some more time to shake it off. Unfortunately, looks like that will not happen. For instance, the restaurant that I want to go to is closed until 6pm. Apparently for today they are only open for dinner. Then I had numerous emails and phone calls that will require a lot for me to resolve. I could put this off, but I don't want to work during my rest days, and if I waited until Monday, I will be behind. I have vacation starting the 23rd so I want to be able to finish as much as I can so I will not be too badly swamped when I return. Too bad, I have been craving for their lobster roll sandwich. I have not tried it, and I heard numerous recommendations from friends about it. So I thought this will be the perfect time to try it, to satisfy my gnawing hunger and make me feel good after the kind of morning that I had. That will have to wait though. So much for a long, leisurely lunch.

You can enjoy that lobster roll, it's actually one of the only expensive things that I don't like. ha ha!

To be honest I prefer shrimps, crabs and squid. But I figure that yesterday was a bad enough day that I want to indulge. Unfortunately it did not work, at least my wallet is haooy.

I never really tasted lobster, how much more if it's a sandwhich. Hope it was a good meal.

Personally I prefer shrimps, crabs and squids. But I thought I will give it a try, too bad it did not work. Maybe next time.

RIght? So I can make up for the lost chance. I will bring my husband with me, that way if I did not like it someone will finish it for me. But it is highly recommended by friends, I know I have to try it.

Plans often change, and it always seems like they do when you least want them to. That lobster roll sounds like a delight too...I hope you get to enjoy it.

I will have to try again next time. I get a bit irritated when things don't go according to plan, but it is one of those things that will never not happen in life.

Most likely it will be on the day after Christmas. I plan to take my husband with me. That way if I did not like it, he will finish it for me.
