Good morning/afternoon. I’m not sure at 11:26 am should I say afternoon or still say morning? I mean technically it is still morning. I didn’t just wake up, well I did from my first nap. Yes, it’s that kind of day. I plan on another nap later today. I went to sleep last night about 10 pm, I was so tired. I slept off and on till 5 am when I got out of bed. I then laid down about 10 am and took a nap till just after 11 am. I am fighting a little head cold, no it’s not covid, I get this at the start of every winter, so I am trying to fight it off this weekend with a little meds and sleep. I had my weekend breakfast of eggs and bacon and a glass of milk (Vitamin D). I have a gallon of orange juice (Vitamin C) that I will drink this weekend. I have Chicken Noodle soup (vitamin A, C and other antioxidants) planned for lunch. I also use an old trick of sweating out the cold. My naps will be fully dressed in sweatpants and sweatshirts with blankets to get the sweat going. Any other tricks you have for getting rid of a head cold?

I usually take the heavy sweating approach as well, but I usually do it in the form of heavy exercise or strenuous activity at work. Get the blood pumping faster to get the immune system working faster! haha

@Bensen32 I've always been about hard work and physical activity. I just can't sit around for that long. Drives me crazy. I like being active, even when I'm sick.

@moffittjc Oh no, not when I am sick. I just want to do nothing at all and don't want no one bothering me.

I guess that is one way to do it. That seems like a lot more work.

Get better soon - at least it's the weekend and you can get that rest! Sweating is good! I throw tons of garlic in the soup - and some cayenne to get that sweat going. I cut out dairy and sugar entirely during that time. And I drink a lot - water, tea, or warm water with lemon or apple cider vinegar.

Hope you feel better soon. You do like I do, chicken soup and rest. I always take Vitamin C & D each morning besides what I get in my food through the day.

Thank you, me too. Yeah, now anytime you get a sniffle or a cough everyone thinks you have covid.

I hope you are cured now, I also wear long warm and tight clothes so that my sweat flows out, I sometimes use eucalyptus oil for dizziness and I apply it to my eyes sometimes it works and I drink hot ginger+honey to warm my body
