Can HUMANS bark? LOL

This morning, my 10-year-old niece is whining about something. Before my day will be busy, I asked her what's the matter. Niece: Can humans bark? Me: No. Niece: Last night, the dogs were barking so loud. At the same time, people in our neighborhood are also barking. ME: You are describing metaphorically. In fact, the humans next to our house are so loud until 2 AM. Due to their noise pollution, the dogs are reacting madly to them. How inconsiderate they are. As much as possible, I don't want to call their attention because I am not into fighting this year. If you were in my position, what would be your course of action? Image Credit: i.ytimg.com

That is a good question since fighting with a neighbor can lead to serious trouble.

I don't want to ruin my Christmas despited being ruined by this coronavirus. In our lives, we need to keep the coolness from within and feel the real meaning of Christmas.

I would pick up the phone and call the police... no one must make noises after 10 pm, it's against the law.

In my city, we are not allowed to have loud noises right after midnight. It is considered a public disturbance.

@LadyDuck I assumed that these people are call center agents. It seems that it is their culture is to drink liquor. But still, it is not acceptable.

@Shavkat Here no loud noises are allowed after 10 pm. People have to get up early to go to work, midnight is too late in the night.

I'm sorry it was so loud so late. We have a noise ordinance. No loud noise after 9 PM so it's not a problem here. As for humans barking, yes they can. I did it often with my dog. It was fun.

We do have an ordinance like this. I am trying to be understanding of the situation. If they are going to do this over and over again, then it is about time to report them.

By Rufo @Shavkat When there were dogs visiting at the building next door and were barking and the kids barked too. Humans can bark but not as good as dogs do it. This was during the day and they dogs did not bother me. The kids probably knew nothing about the dogs and were antagonizing them and that is not right. When someone bothered some cats minding their own business I did say something. I just let dogs bark when they bark and do not say anything.

I think it is fine during the daytime. The peaceful night will not be if they do this.

@Shavkat They barked for a reason and the kids were cruel imitating them. Others here make noise at night and early in the morning. Nothing can be done.

@amitkokiladitya That would be another story. Cursing is not acceptable to me. It will trigger my evil side if being cursed by them.

I think there are few who can do the sound. I have a colleague at work who can do the sound of a cow, a person in a talent contest on TV can do the sound of the horse. Maybe it's a talent but I understand that it's annoying to hear neighbors so loud in wee hours of a day.

I also feel amazed by seeing people who can do animals' sounds. It is really annoying to hear these noisy neighbors.

Oh l guess you can report them to you local police or your barangay to let them know about it. I think they are not allowed anymore especially if it affects the community anymore.

@Shavkat Sometimes they only need to be reminded as they can be just unaware that they are already disturbing others already.

@rsa101 As much as possible, I do not want to be acquainted with them. We are trying to conceal our feelings because we are still new in the neighborhood.

I don't need to bother myself with these people, too. As long as my teaching stunts online will not be disturbed.

What were they doing? Partying? I have a stall that operate until midnight in front of my house. Most of the noise at night come from them. But they're overly loud to the point I want to murder them. Still can be annoying at times but I still can endure it.

I think they are having a drinking session. They are not thinking about this matter. I cannot bear it sometimes so I just listen to music on my mobile phone.

I think this is interesting topic. We have cuckoos making that sound before rainy season. I often mimic them. I find them replying as if they think I am another cuckoo. Try it, you will notice they do. The day we are able to understand animal languages ..we as humans are finished. I wouldn't like to be told by a dog how lazy I am. LOL

Why do people like that exist everywhere? Few years ago my neighbor also did the same thing. My son was only few months, we needed rest. They made a noise, well their kids, playing gallon of water as music instruments. Another neighbor was a grandma. She complained to their parents, but the parents was being defensive and didn't care about the complaint. Finally this grandma contacted our head neighborhood, and told him about it. Our head neighborhood talked to the parents and finally the noises stopped. My suggestion if you are know them very well, talk to them, but if you don't know them talk to someone who has the authority.

They are just insensitive and lost their minds of being humans. In fact, they are the newest neighbors here. We are not acquainted with them. If they are out of control, I will just report to the police precinct as anonymously.
