It has been a pretty dry winter so far... we had only one good snow storm of about 8 inches back in October, and only dustings since then. Until today. At 9am and 41 degrees F, it started as rain, and temps have dropped and will continue to drop to -1F and blizzarding and white out conditions ensue. They estimate somewhere around 9-12 inches when all is said and done.
I am counting my blessings that everyone in my immediate family and friends are safe and at home. Also counting my blessings that I didn’t have to be at work or be commuting. I am hunkering down and spending time with my dad. It’s 957PM and we are currently cleaning (me) and he is working on snow removal with his snowblower. But it’s still snowing.
Tomorrow will be cold but at least it will give the city a chance to catch up with plowing.
Are you experiencing this weather? Please stay safe!
This is a photo from 12pm when it was transitioning from rain to snow. Yuck.

I can't see the picture, just a white patch - or maybe that is the picture lol.
I love snow - as long as no-one has to drive anywhere. Glad you are all safe and warm at home. It has been very mild here, and yesterday was very wet. Doesn't feel very Christmassy! Tonight is going to be significantly colder (below freezing) but still no snow, just mud everywhere.

Maybe my phone is lagging, but I don't see any picture.
Today I see no sun, but the weather is hot. I hope rain will fall tonight
