What terrible news to wake up to! One of my favorite cities, Nashville, Tennessee, was rocked by an explosion this morning at about 6:30 AM (Nashville time).
I'm watching live news coverage online from Nashville. They are reporting that the explosion seems to have occurred in a recreational vehicle on Second Avenue between Commerce and Church Streets. A recorded warning, "If you can hear this message, evacuate now," played several times before the explosion occurred.
The FBI is investigating the incident as terrorism.
Right now, and may this stay the case, there are no reports of fatalities, and only three injuries.
What a sad thing on Christmas morning. God bless Nashville.

Of course the FBI is thinking it's terrorism: that's all they think about. Hope it was just a gas leak.

Not that I’ve heard. No conspiracy or terrorism connection, just one guy who decided to blow himself up in his RV on Christmas morning.

@TheHorse — no fatalities. Perp doesn’t count. And what’s the point of “making a statement” if nobody knows what the statement was supposed to be?

@FourWalls I thought there were no fatalities. I like the fact that whomever did this was a "kind terrorist." There was a warning issued (I don't know how) to clear the area before the bomb went off.

I know. You live out in the burbs, don’t you? Nowhere near this?

@FourWalls Yes, away from the city thankfully. This was on 2nd Avenue. Has to be intentional meant for the police officers. They are taking about AT&T possibly being the target but I don't know about that yet.

@CarolDM — I’ve been watching channel 5, and they made an interesting comment that social media is “great for speculation, not so much for facts.” Then they launched into speculation about the ATT building being the target because of their mention in the Snowden leaks.
