Merry Christmas... What time did you get up this morning?

I guess that most of us have grown children and I'm sure we took advantage of the day off. Me, I was up at 8 a.m to get the Christmas Muffins going. They turned out awesome by the way and I think that there might be two left. I guess that is pretty normal for muffins that only come out on the 25th of December.
So how about those of you with young children? Ours for some reason never got out of bed before 10 am... never figured that one out. We were up at five... my poor parents lol... Luckily they were ready and likely awake lol.
Dinner is in about a half an hour and I'm looking forward to it. I'm definitely getting hungry. We were going to have Christmas Pudding for dessert, but I have a plate of shortbread waiting just in case no one has room for the pudding.
Talked to the kids via video... but it just wasn't the same... I guess we will all be hoping for a normal Christmas for 2021 (here's hoping)

Our day was quiet. Just four of us. We had a nice talk with our son in Melbourne and another video call with our other son and his wife in Ireland. We face-chatted with the one in Melbourne too. We ate too much lunch so just had nibbles for our dinner. We have so much food in the fridge I don't know how we'll ever get rid of it. lol

Our day was quiet, I cooked a lot of food, it's just my and my son, the others lives a long way off. I am watching the news now.

Quiet. Just like any other christmas, really. Hubby's on the phone with his "sister", and I'm in here working.

I'm glad you had a good day. I was up all night as usual. We had a very quiet day. Just the two of us. It s**wed all day long; and we have at least a foot of the white stuff.
