I might lie down

I feel.. weird at the moment.
Sinuses are stuffed around the nose and my throat is numb feeling almost. I can't really concentrate at the moment either. I feel tired. I'm a little upset because there's a few things I need to get done, but it's not going to do me any good if I can't concentrate.
I hope a nap will help me feel better or atleast lying down for a half an hour or so.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I hate being sick a couple of weeks ago,,,out of the blue I got serious diarhea highly unusual for me, and since I didn't think I had eaten anything unusual plus friend was here and ate the same stuff(withoout illness)..I was wondering if I had Covid, but the next day I felt totally normal. I am thinking now it could have been roto virus or something, or maybe it was the red lentil pasta..maybe that just did not agree with me for some reason.

@snowy22315 I'm thinking it might have been the red lentil pasta. I've had that pasta before and it gave me those types of issues too.

I don't think it's even a cold, but I'm not sure. I took my temperature before I went to lie down and it was normal for me. My throat still aches slightly but I'm able to concentrate again. Honestly, my body might have just been thrown off a little because I went to bed later and slept in too.

Thank You, I do. I took another benadryl and dozed for about an hour and a half. It helped.

Aww, so sorry to hear you're not feeling the greatest. I hope the nap helps. Sleep is good. So is plenty of water.

I've had plenty of sleep and working on the plenty of water thing at the moment. Back to just a dull ache in my throat again so hopefully it will be completely gone soon.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Do you ever gargle warm salt water? At the first sign of an itchy, scratchy or sore throat, I immediately go for the salt water gargle. It always seems to help.

Thank You. It's 8:34 AM here now and I am feeling much better. I took several doses of allergy medicine over the course of yesterday and I think it helped knock out the allergens.

I do feel a lot better. The sinus pressure around my nose is gone.

No, I already feel better. I think part of it might have been seeing my furnphew the other day. It probably kicked up some of my allergies since I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to both cats and dogs lol

@LindaOHio Hah, yeah. I love animals though and would rather take allergy medicines than not be around them.
