A Tripod for Vlogging

Yes, Santa was good to me. I got a lightweight tripod for my iPhone which I have wished for a long time. I sometimes took videos of what I cooked or baked but it was always difficult to do this with my own hands without a cameraman. I always want to be alone when I am creating something and take photos and videos as I want to gather my thoughts on what to do and how to do something. So, I need this tripod. I have a youtube cooking channel but seldom active there. I think I have not been there for more than a year. It is time to be there again and I want to post a video of what I am cooking or baking. I still have no idea what I will cook or bake. Next month, I have to write something about food for the Valentines Day issue in a magazine where I am writing. I think I will publish a video on what I cook for Valentines' Day. We´ll see. Maybe you can give me an idea of what to Vlog. That would be a help for me. Thank you very much for reading. @thelme55 This is good to have definitely, how tall is it? I have a small, maybe 30 cm, but he also does a huge job for me sometimes, especially when I need a quiet shot, our hands are always shaking no matter how careful we are.

It is a bit more than 40 cm in height. Yes, my hands shake too no matter how careful I am taking videos. It is good that I have this tripod. I have not tried it yet as we went grocery shopping this afternoon, the last time for this year 2020. Thank you @LowRiderX

That's great you have a tripod now to help videotape your cooking and baking. I'm sure you'll be active again on YouTube. I don't know what to suggest. Most of what I watch/listen to on YouTube is music. I hope this last week of 2020 is good for you too.

I saw something at Walmart for vlogging that was about $40. Twice I have considered buying it as I have considered starting a money channel on YouTube. But so far I have not done it.

I vlog on occasion - less now than I used to. But back in the day, when I was doing it all the time, you always had to have a good tripod!

I'm afraid I'm not any help at all. I have no interest in cooking really although we've just bought an air fryer so perhaps I'd better learn how to use it.
