Any Surprises Under The Christmas Tree??

I haven't begun taking it down yet, but I did remove the garland that was on the floor beneath the tree. I wanted to sweep under there so dust bunnies didn't begin partying under there. That's when I saw it!! There was a little silver wrapped gift that was the same color as the garland that I had started removing!! I pulled it out and looked at the tag! It had an "M" for mom written on it. I took it upstairs. I had already opened everything so I was going to tell whoever gave it to me, to save it for next year. Hubby shook his head. "You are going to want those" he laughed. Inside was a bag of Jelly Belly jelly beans... my favorite. ;) I didn't mean hidden gifts when I came up with the idea... I was talking about neat gifts you received. Finding something unexpected... was totally unexpected to me too!! Now your turn... any unexpected gifts of any sort under the tree for you this year?

I noticed a friend of mine put the smaller gifts inside the branches of her tree and I thought that was clever. I'm not sure if I've ever seen anyone do that. I don't know if whoever gave you the jelly belly jelly beans meant for you to find it later or not, but it's cool that you did! What a neat surprise. I think the most unexpected gift I received was my quilt ladder. I love the thing so much!

We give each other lots of little gifts so hubby didn't even realize that it wasn't brought out Christmas morning. It was the first time it's ever happened, but it was a fun little surprise!!

It was a first for me... but I think that I will have to carry on the tradition. We do have the Christmas Pickle. I will have to hang that and see if anyone notices!

@Hate2Iron That is a good idea of hiding a gift in my friend's Christmas tree. I will think about that for next Christmas:

Nothing unexpected for us. It is raining, and it may be ice again later. I am bringing in the wreaths and garland from outside.

I got quite a few gifts for Christmas but one of my favorites is a big coffee mug from my granddaughter. She told me she had to go to 2 stores to find it. That made it extra special that she took the time.

My daughter sent us a box of fruit from a Texas farmer. That was my surprise this year.

Yes. My son told us to make a Christmas list but I didn't write a list. My daughters put a recommended gift on the list for me. I was surprised when I saw a gift with my name on it under the tree. It was a audio cord for my TV so I could listen at night with ear phones and not disturb others. Very much appreciated.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. I think he was supposed to be under Lori's tree, not mine.

How nice to find an unexpected present. Our son's gift from Ireland arrived late. I'd given him a list of books that I wanted to read one day but he didn't just choose one - he sent all five! So that was very generous of him. I'd told him it was okay to find used copies for me so I hope they were.

It's funny that you got jelly beans because that's all that was on my list for this year. I wanted a bag of spice jelly beans; but my husband couldn't find any. So there were no gifts again this year.
