Mailing Order Nightmares

I am so happy the holidays are finally over, Christmas was almost ruined as mail orders. First there an error with my order from Etsy and I had to get a replacement I was really stressing as didn't have much time..... Then my order from eBay they responded they couldn't find the item I purchased!!! Everything arrived besides my mom's one and only gift from me it arrived day before Christmas Eve.. so thankful she made it I had a custom made pillow case for her with all of her grandkids names and her new great grandson on it

All of my family is doing very well, neice welcomed a baby boy into are growing family in November. Grandma is 81 in March still doing great.

Yes it was the only gift she got, I had thought maybe my brother or my two oldee Neices might get her something but I was the only one.... It meant alot to her.

That is a lovely and special pillow case. I ordered something very special for my hubby in- mid October!!!! About three weeks ago I asked about the item. It is hand made and apparently they had not started on the item until three weeks ago. So..... I hope hubby gets his Christmas gift by his June birthday.

Isn't that just awful we buy a item early because we expect it to be done in time for a holiday not for them to wait and start it last minute.

I think everyone had delivery issues this year due to COVID. The mail and couriers were overwrought. I had an item (not a gift) that originally was reported as lost. When I called Amazon they called the carrier and the item arrived 2 days later. Other items were taking forever to even be shipped and then eventually told I wasn't going to get one item as it wasn't in stock. But we got all our orders before Christmas (between me and my two adult daughters we did a lot of ordering online for Christmas).

Had they not made the mistake on my first order i wouldnt have had to worry as much as it would have made it in plenty of time.

The pillow was a great gift idea. I'm glad everything finally arrived. Everyone had delays this year. Hopefully 2021 will be better. Happy New Year!
