...popular these days. I considered mylotters as my e-pals or net friends since I haven't seen them in person. I am grateful that I am having the chance to know them here. It means that I am extending my support system virtually. I had shared some of my secrets and not feeling shy to talk about them here. How do you feel having e-pals here and the other sites? In my situation living far off to family,i am not much even active in other social media,so being in mylot helped me to focus my time,enjoy talking to friendly people here.

It is a good thing that there is a dash between the words.

In fact, it is also called electronic pal. I am so familiar with the term that you are referring to. I know lots of people like this.

Anonymity is a big factor here why we are comfortable sharing our thoughts here. I always look for learning and sharing my thoughts in here freely for the past years and felt comfortable already.

I agree. I did not reveal myself the same thing as the others here. I do learn so many things here. There are times that I need to be vigilant since some give information that is not accurate.

I have many real life friends, but enjoy my virtual friends. Many I would love to meet in person when it’s safe to travel the world again. This is such a friendly and wonderful place to be.

We feel more comfortable sharing our worries with virtual friends. You don't feel shy as you have not met them and it's easier to open up to people who are virtual on certain issue. That way a platform like mylot is really good.

@Shavkat Yes. That's a big reason. Being anonymous or being among a virtual world, people shed inhibitions to share their secrets. In an known crowd, you feel the pressure to be judged. This site becomes a good site for outlet.

I am grateful to my old friend who introduced myLot to me and my writing stunts started here. Eventually, I had found and joined the other sites. Along the way, I had my virtual friends and that includes you.
