I Did a Thing in MD

The Day I got my ears pierced

So I did a thing while we were up in Maryland this year. I've always wanted to get a second piercing in my ear. That way I could have one for my dangle earrings and I could have a hole for post ones. I've been talking about it more over the past couple of years with the increase of tattoo pallor visits that we take. I saved up the money last year and was so excited to tell my mother in law that I could make an appointment for the woman at the tattoo place they go to, can do my ears. My mother in law is awesome. She bought me a gift certificate to get my ears done while we were up and it was awesome lol. I though that I was going to hurt. More after than the actual piercing but neither really hurt. We all had a good laugh when I said that I've been waiting about 15 years for this piercing lol. She used titanium instead of the 14 karat gold starter earrings and I have a month before I can change them out. That means I'm counting down the days until the 30th of this month lol. Not that I'll put random earrings in like I would usually do but I do want to change them to the gold earrings I have for a bit. I know in the picture it's hard to tell because of how small the balls are but that was the day I got it done. I was so happy and I still am lol.

I wish I can have a piercing in one of my ears, but my mom doesn't like it. It sounds painful to me.

@JordanLader I can relate to you now. My little niece had this when she was a baby.

@Shavkat Yeah, that was my first set. I've wanted a second set since I was sixteen maybe a little younger so I'm very happy now lol.

That looks great. I have always wanted to have a second piercing in my left lobe like that. But since I almost fainted when I had my original piercing done, I haven't worked up the nerve to go.

I was always worried about the pain and then it was the money. It really wasn't that bad. My husband held my hand but I never squeezed. It only took five minutes too, at most. If it's something you want done, I say go for it. I'm trying to work up the nerve to get a tattoo lol
