Yes I know most of you are not football fans. I am and I enjoy college football each year.
Was up until after midnight watching my favorite college football team win the National Championship. My son Dustin would have been so proud of this team. They won all 13 games played this season.
The first coach to win a national title in 3 different decades: Nick Saban from Alabama.
Even with COVID testing every day, no spring training camp, they still won all 13 games played. So proud of them.
They played Ohio State and won last night. 52 - 24 the final score.

You're right. Football isn't so popular in our country except basketball. Anyway, congrats.

@DocAndersen Hard to keep up with the good ole southern football I suppose.
You know Saban was head coach at Miami and LSU as well before Alabama.

@CarolDM seems odd that Alabama has the two coaches with the most national championships in football

Congratulations on Alabama winning the national championship. It's especially heartwarming to see that they absolutely clobbered Ohio State, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Now maybe OSU will shut their mouths. It's interesting that time and time again the SEC proves it is the dominant conference in football, and time and time again OSU thinks they are good. Well guess what? They're not good enough! haha

I'm a Tennessean, so not much of an Alabama fan, but my husband watched the game. I'm not much of a football fan at any time though. I personally think universities need to concentrate more on academics and less on sports. Leave that to the pros.

I am as well but Alabama was my son's favorite team, so it is mine as well. They do concentrate on academics. Many of the players have master degrees. Eleven players earned master degrees. I enjoy it. Those who don't, well don't watch.
