Money Well Spent (Fireplace)

I’m really pleased with my electric fireplace, it was under a hundred dollars, about $80 and was something I needed! I don’t use the wall heater, but this one is perfect and warms up the apartment nicely!
Speaking of money well spent, Bailee and her fiancé bought a brand new trailer which they are moving into as I’m typing this, super excited and proud of them, not bad for being 18 and 22!

It looks very nice and glad to hear you did not have to spend so much money, I think for starting out it is great they could buy a trailer,

@jstory07 It’s more like a fifth wheel, but it’s perfect for them, because they are just starting out and eventually want to travel!

No, not really. Most people who are adults, don't have the ability to buy that young. It's quite an accomplishment indeed. I am also glad to hear you're enjoying your electric fireplace. My husband and I joked about buying one, but also agree that it wouldn't be used enough to justify the cost. Jan and Feb our coldest months, and we have central heating and air.

We have an old heater that goes at the base of our wall, I used to get burned on that kind as a kid, so I just block it off and don’t use it, the fireplace made sense for me and it’s the right size!

@Michellekidwell As long as it warms up the whole apartment that is great.

It’s perfect and in the end it’s saving me the money I’d have to use running the bigger heater, which I don’t like anyway!

@Michellekidwell In Switzerland it's very cold in winter, the house would feel like a refrigerator should we not use the furnace.

That's a great heater. Buying a home at 18 and 22 is quite an accomplishment.

I have a similar but smaller one in my study room/home office. Whenever I have to work from home, I will turn this up when it was too cold and I will be comfortable.
When are they moving into the trailer? For very young people this is indeed very admirable.
