A Hypocritical Student: Guess What?!?

Based on my last posted discussion, I formally complain against my student online who is habitually failing my performance in teaching online. I am burning to hell when I wrote this: 'The hypocritical student is not listening nor paying attention in class and he's also giving the teacher poor evaluations that he doesn't deserve.' Whoah! I don't have any regretful feelings about this. How's your day so far? Any good things happened or happening today? Image Credit: fluentu.com

Are you the only teacher this child has? If he has a teacher for different classes, then he's doing the same thing to them, also. Some children are brats, regardless of who's working with them.

I also assumed that he is doing this to other teachers in the company. This student is a zero level. Perhaps it is his way to show his frustrations.

@Shavkat He is frustrated, confused, and probably angry with these changes.

Well, I just checked it. They declined my appeal against this student. I cannot believe it at first. Since they are not making it a fair game, I will not decline his class later. The sad thing is that I am going to be absent. I just cannot have a class with him today.

@LadyDuck You figured it out. They will just brush off the concerns of teachers because of this.

Good you are honest about evaluating your students and give them what they are good for. How old are your students by the way?

Well, my complaint was declined. I am going to be absent from his class later. It is how I will show my protest against the company and him. The sad part is that he is only 8 years old. It is really frustrating if a virtual teacher is encountering this kind of student.

The usual course of action is to be at the side of the student. Why? It's a business matter. They gain profit from these students.

It was a rough day yesterday. Today, I am going to have a class with him. I need to show my unwillingness to teach him. Once I did that later, my day is fine.

That's a test of patience. As a teacher, you should really apply more effort to tolerate different characters of students without being upset.

I do agree with you. The problem is that the company is not looking further into this kind of situation. I was so patient enough to deal with kind of hypocritical student.

You said it right. Due to this pandemic, many dilemmas are incurring lately. It has been more than seven years working with them. In my humble opinion, I am one of the best virtual teachers in this company. However, dealing with rude students are the most challenging one.

@valmnz For me, it is better to have face-to-face. It is easy to correct their bad behaviors instantly. At least, I can defend myself and validate the wrongdoings.

Hmmm... Do you have any other recourse with bad students? Can you refuse to teach him? It has been snowing all day here. Our yard is slowly turning white.

Sorry you had a tough time with one of the students. As a teacher, we need to be patient and tolerant to a great extent. It's a holiday and first harvest festival here. I am busy having fun with my family.

I am glad that you are having a great time with the family. There is no question about being patient when having classes with this particular student. Since the company is not dealing with it in a fair game, I will just ignore it.

He is 8 years old. I have the feeling that it was influenced by the adults in his house. I cannot ban him because we are not allowed. Unless I will just tag myself absent and face penalties corresponds to this action.
