In the Rainforest

Sometimes when it's time for bed, and to resist those pesky unwanted thoughts, I envision animals on the other side of the world in rainforests, oceans, coral reefs, desserts, savannahs, etc. I imagine monkeys swinging around in trees or dolphins playing bubble games with each other, birds flying, fish swimming, zebras running, penguins waddling, elephants doing their thing. These images absorb my thoughts, and I fall asleep happy. I found a site containing writing prompts for grades 1-12, and decided to apply a first grade prompt for this post. The next first grade prompt on the list is After School Games, somehow I don't believe that topic will be a subject for future discussions.
