Am almost done with my laundry. It is a relief to me. The only thing left is mopping the floor. Well, this is my weekly exercise. Meanwhile, I am battling with the mosquito hovering around.. My husband does not like to use that Baygon stuff because of its smell How to get rid of mosquitoes naturally?

Should I find a way to get rid of mosquitoes naturally I think I would become rich.

I like lemon grass and other citrus smelling plants planted around. It seems to help.

Our landscape company sprays a natural repellent all over our property. We haven’t had a mosquito in years.

@Janet357 I think they do it 2 to 3 times a season. They come every month to do something or other.

Over here Citronella candles are popular but not sure if they really work.

Saturday is my wash day. With regards to mosquitoes, we can minimize the presence of these insects by removing their breeding place.

household chores certainly do count as exercise. I should mop my floor today but it's raining and I know the pups will be coming in with wet paws throughout the day.

Can't help you with the mosquito issue. Get your husband to put a tiny bit of Vicks on/in his nostrils and maybe he won't be able to smell the flyspray.

So washing can be tiring. Most importantly, you've already got it over with.

Use the vape mosquitoes repellent like mine. I can't use the smoke type. The spray one is temporary. So I settle for this instead.

Mint, mint helps keep them away. I have some in mud don’t yard to keep them away it’s nice plus they are hearty and hard to kill. My kids are on them on accident all of the time but yet still live. I got lot to do today for myself if I can get it done. But kids and school might make it hard.

@Janet357 not really! I have a 3 level town house and the washer drier are in the basement and not all of the kids are doing school form the same area also they do not have the same schedule when things start or finish or when breaks are. The only break that is at the same time is lunch. Also I can’t leave a 5/6 year old alone for two long while he is doing school work because he will get up and leave which is normal since for every age a person is is how long they can stay focus for.

I don't like the smell of baygon. I use another brand, it called Force Magic. I like the smells. How about lavender oil and lemon grass oil? Have you try it?
