Ancient structures are unique, especially when there isn't a clear picture of how these large stones were moved, and how they were fitted together so precisely.
Mnajdra is a temple complex found in Malta. It was possibly used for religious activity or a site to observe the stars.
One of the buildings is aligned with the Vernal and Autumnal (Spring and Summer) equinoxes (comparable to numerous ancient structures), allowing sunlight to enter through a door on those two days.
Stone benches and tables are found within and several of the megalithic stones are carved with circles.
What a wonderful site this would prove to visit.

@LadyDuck This is true. There isn't really anything ancient close to me at all.

I've often thought it would be fun to go back in time and watch how they did things also.

It would be interesting to know what all those carved circles mean, though it might be just because it looks cool. You're welcome.

Here is some too something similar anyways
This ancient Irish site tucked away in the west of Ireland is a hidden gem on par with the famous burial sites at Newgrange and Tara. Most tourists, both Irish and international, will be unfamiliar with Rathcroghan in County Roscommon, but it used to be Ir
