Good clear out day.

Today I had a good clear out in my bedroom. First I had porridge for breakfast, and when I finished my breakfast, I went into my bedroom and got to it. What I really wanted to do was get my mini heater from behind all the other stuff so that I could use it on the cold nights. But seeing as there was loads of stuff infront of it I decided to have a good sort out and clean at the same time. So the first thing I did was get all the stuff from infront of the heater and onto my bed. Then the heater got removed and I took it into the living room to test it still worked. It works fine, but there was a smell of burning dust because I forgot to dust it first! Next I decided to sort everything that was under the window. I've got four bags of clothes people have given me. I have a large DVD box full of films and TV series staring Paul McGann and I've got boxes of lego! It all got transferred onto my bed! When the way was clear I could get to the old wooden child's rocking chair that I had when I was 2. The reason I'm never going to get rid of it is because my real Dad arranged for it to be purchased for me when he was on his death bed. I dusted it and moved it from where it was. Another chair I have is a pink chair with a wicker work back that my Grandma Cross had in her bedroom in her bungalow. Underneath it was an old grotty typewriter that I wanted to get rid of. But when I tried to get it from under the chair I found that it was stuck! On the chair I had a pile of old framed photos and a bag of painting and drawing materials. So I had to take everything off the chair, move the chair, remove the typewriter, put the chair back and put everything back on the chair! I was thinking of maybe giving the typewriter to charity but when I saw the condition of it, and the fact that the grime was ingrained and would not move by mere dusting, I decided it would have to go at the end of the drive for the rag and bone man to take. I found some other things for the end of the drive too. A small lady shave that no longer works, a couple of adapter plugs that were rattling and I didn't want to risk testing if they worked and an old computer keyboard that is no longer used. All these will go to the end of the drive. Mum hasn't put them at the end of the drive yet though as she wants to sort out some of her old baking trays to add to them. There was a lot of dust and cobwebs, so I dusted and I swept up and found some stuff to recycle. Then everything went back but not in the order it was in the first place. The child's rocking chair and a stool I got from my Grandma Brown's are now at the other side and the bags of clothes are where the chair and stool used to be, followed by the boxes of lego. But it does actually look a lot neater now, even though it's just mainly been dusting and moving things around. I feel like I actually accomplished something! When I finished it was time to get the tea. I did have a break at lunch time, I wasn't going at it none stop! But by the time I'd finished I was warn out and had back ache! Then I had to get my tea before I could have a sit down. I'll sleep well tonight. What have you accomplished today? What has been your greatest accomplishment?

I envy you. My parent is a hoarder. I am unable to throw anything out. I am also becoming careless nowadays. House is a mess. My latest accomplishment - I found something on net that endorsed my opinion and my father isn't too happy about it.

The coffee table in our living room is piled high with my Mum's stuff, and she has a pile of magazines by it and a pile of books in the corner of the room. It's not just her though. I have a load of plastic boxes full of craft stuff behind the sofa. It's only there because I've got no room in my bedroom!

You have a fun day, I also have a lot of achievements that I have done so far and this makes me happy, my final project research has been running halfway and I'm starting to get a bright spot on this, hopefully at the end of the semester I will conduct a final trial to get a bachelor's degree . It turns out that the adage that says "a little longer becomes a hill" is appropriate when working on the final project
