Walked to the store

My neighbor asked me if I wanted to walk over to the liquor store for lottery tickets. I didn't have any cash but I said I'd take the walk with her. I brought my few lottery tickets from the past couple of days with me to check the numbers. No winners. Maybe we are crazy for walking by ourselves in the dark in an isolated area but I never feel unsafe. We did pass by a couple of teenagers on bikes and a guy with 2 little dogs but otherwise we were alone on our journey. I have 3 tickets for tonight's MegaMillions still. $850 million! Just a bit more than I make here each month.

Jay talked about getting a few lottery tickets, but if he will, I don't know. I use to walk at night, whenever I wanted to. Now, I refuse. We've had warnings about shady things, that never existed before.
