The cinnamon tree in bloom

Around Christmas time our cinnamon tree gets loaded with flowers and their strong aroma permeates the air around
The bark of the cinnamon tree is used as a spice and also the leaves. I use cinnamon in my date and walnut cake. The cake smells nice.
I do not know how to extract the bark. Cinnamon is expensive and if I knew how to peel off the bark I could be very rich.

I wish we could grow them here. But that would be another tree in a pot for me.

Does she take it from the main trunk or the branches and does she try them too?

Good luck with your plan When these flowers turn into seeds they sprout on the ground producing countless saplings which we only pull out and throw

@Fleura Not like cinnamon. Kuskus is also known as poppy seeds.

@allknowing Sorry, I don't know what this is either! I guess they don't smell like cinnamon though?
