Day 165 Promise 626 Ephesians 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. (KJV) Everyone loves to receive gifts, especially on birthdays and Christmas. People even look forward to them on various other holidays. Sometimes, people need to earn their gifts. Paul told the Ephesians God gave them grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Have you given thought to what that might mean to you as Christians? What is the measure of Christ? It’s limitless. God’s grace to you is limitless. Infinite. Eternal. There’s nothing you can do to earn God’s grace. God gave you His grace before the foundation of the world. He knew you would accept Jesus as Savior and Lord. God’s grace followed you from the moment of your birth until the moment you accepted Jesus as your Savior and became born again. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV) Have you accepted God’s limitless grace, love, and forgiveness? Let’s pray: Father, thank you for loving me so much, You poured out Your grace on me and accepted me as Your child.
